(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR) posted an announcement that K9 Amelia passed away on Saturday, Aug. 17 saying that she would be greatly missed.
According to EPCSAR, she started her career with Douglas County Search and Rescue and spent the last few years with El Paso County. EPCSAR said she was an “extremely talented trailing K9 and the best partner to her handler, Carrie.”

Search and Rescue went on to say that she was a humble servant to the community and would be greatly missed. “Thank you for your service and rest easy, sweet girl.”
