(CALHAN, Colo.) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) is investigating after two people were found dead in northeastern El Paso County on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

According to EPSO, deputies responded around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday to the 18000 block of Eurich Road, north of Calhan to perform a welfare check. When deputies arrived, they found a man and woman dead.

The causes of death and identities of the two people have not been released, as the investigation is ongoing.

EPSO said it is believed that everyone involved is accounted for and there is no danger to the public.
