(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Bighorn Sheep are a common sighting at the Garden of the Gods and the surrounding areas. These curly-horned creatures are a delight to tourists and locals alike, and this Sunday, Feb. 17, the sheep will be in the spotlight.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, families and friends of the Bighorn Sheep can come to celebrate and learn more about them. The event is free, and perfect for families. There will be wildlife viewing stations, live animals, nature walks, education booths, youth crafts, giveaways, and several educational presentations.

Bighorn Sheep Day was a big hit last year, hosting more than 4,000 people at 2023’s event.
