(COLORADO SPRINGS) — At 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 23, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to reports of a shooting on the 2500 block of Hancock Expressway. There they found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was transported to a local hospital, and treated for the injury, which was not life-threatening. A suspect was also taken into custody, and CSPD said this was an isolated incident.

The investigation is still in progress.
