FFD seeks community input on emergency response strategies

(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — The Fountain Fire Department (FFD) is asking for the community’s input through a new survey.

The fire department launched the survey on Thursday, Aug. 29. The survey is meant to collect feedback from neighbors as part of the Community Risk Assessment/Standards of Cover (CRA/SOC) initiative.

The initiative is a strategic document that outlines how FFD assesses and manages risks within the community. FFD said the initiative is essential for evaluating current capabilities, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying areas for improvement.

The survey is designed to gather insights on community needs, potential risks, and areas of concern which will help shape FFD’s future emergency response strategies and public safety efforts.

“We ask that all community members take a few minutes to share their thoughts and experiences,” said a statement from the fire department. “Every response will help the Fountain Fire Department develop a more responsive and tailored emergency service plan.”

FFD’s survey will be available for a limited time and will close on Monday, Sept. 16. To take the survey, click the link above.
