(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said after a two-week deployment, CSFD’s fire crews have returned.

According to CSFD, a crew was deployed to assist with the Turner Gulch Fire in western Colorado. As of Monday, July 28, the Turner Gulch Fire was 54% contained. The CSFD crew was deployed to the Turner Gulch Fire for two weeks.

“We’re proud of the work they did and grateful they’re home safe to their families,” wrote CSFD.
