(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The City of Manitou Springs is alerting the community to the possibility of flooding in the city on Tuesday, July 29.
According to the City, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Watch for Teller and El Paso Counties, including Manitou Springs, until 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
The City said the alert is a Flood Watch, meaning flooding is possible. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday.
