(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Ford Amphitheater is gearing up to open ahead of its first shows next week as OneRepublic gets ready to take the stage on Friday, Aug. 9.
FOX21 News reached out to Venu (formerly Notes Live) for an update on the Amphitheater’s progress, and according to Chloe Hoeft, Vice President of Marketing for Venu, staff is working on the finishing touches ahead of opening weekend.
“Over the past week, we have been training our event staff, giving the venue a good cleaning to make it sparkle, and preparing to open our gates to our sold-out crowd,” Hoeft wrote. “We are excited to show you all what we have been building! Let’s Rock and Roll!”
As a surge of visitors will make their way to Colorado Springs to enjoy the concert line-up, Ford Amphitheater worked closely with the City of Colorado Springs to develop a comprehensive traffic and parking plan.
On the Amphitheater’s website, concertgoers and community members can check out a map, which includes two parking lots, shuttle information, as well as additional street parking, and other parking options nearby.
As for opening weekend tickets, Hoeft had this to say: “There are tickets available via resale in all sections including the special VIP Fire Pit seating.”
Ford Amphitheater is located at 95 Spectrum Loop in the Polaris Pointe development in northern Colorado Springs and more information about the venue can be found at the link above.
