Four vehicles rescued from flooded Pueblo street

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Fire Department (PFD) told FOX21 News that its crews rescued four vehicles that were stuck on a flooded street during the evening of Sunday, June 9.

According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) on Sunday at around 10 p.m. northbound and southbound lanes of I-25 were flooded just north of the Arkansas River. Police were asking drivers to avoid D Street near Ilex Street and Santa Fe Avenue due to the flooding, and stated that all four lanes had standing water.

PFD said crews rescued four cars that were stuck on Santa Fe Ave. under the bridge, but that no injuries were reported.
