(COLORADO SPRINGS) — FOX21 News is teaming up with Colorado College (CC) and the Midwest Sled Hockey League to live stream two games featuring Colorado’s team on Saturday evening, Feb. 8.
Beginning on Friday, Feb. 7, five teams from the Midwest region, featuring players who are members of the USA National Sled team, will be competing in a tournament at CC’s Robson Arena.

“Sled hockey follows most of the typical ice hockey rules with the exception of some of the equipment,” wrote CC. “Players sit in a sled on top of two hockey skate blades, allowing individuals with all types of disabilities to participate.”
The tournament spans three days and concludes on Sunday morning, Feb. 9. According to CC’s website, all games are free and open to the public and concessions will be available on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
