(COLORADO SPRINGS) — FOX21 News proudly congratulates Loving Living Local host, Krista Witiak, and Photojournalist, Ray Harless, for winning an Emmy for their Outdoor Colorado series on Saturday, July 20.
The dynamic duo won in the category of Lifestyle/Magazine/Informational/Instructional – Short Form Content, up to 15 minutes, for their series highlighting Harless’s artistic shots and Witiak’s engaging storytelling. Outdoor Colorado was featured on FOX21’s lifestyle show, Loving Living Local, and aimed at encouraging southern Colorado viewers to explore various outdoor locations and activities in the state.
In the 2023 season, Witiak took viewers aboard the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad to showcase one of Colorado’s premier scenic train experiences. She also visited Capella Ranch to learn about beekeeping and ventured off the pavement with Collegiate Peaks Off-Road to embrace dirt trails.

In response to receiving the award, Harless said “It was such an honor to be recognized for all of the hard work that Krista and I did for Outdoor Colorado.
