(CAÑON CITY, Colo.) — The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public to be on the lookout for an escaped inmate.

Kegan VanVliet was last seen on foot on Friday, June 7 along U.S. Highway 50 at Justice Center Road in Cañon City. He is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds. VanVliet is described as having gray-blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
