(DENVER) — The defending back-to-back state champ Mesa Ridge lost its lead in the third quarter and could never get it back, falling 71-62 against Windsor at the CHSAA Class 5A Final Four at the Denver Coliseum on Friday night.

The loss is just the fourth in the last three years for Mesa Ridge basketball.

Earlier in the night, 21 seed Falcon saw its magical run come to a close 77-67 against Green Mountain.
