(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Governor Jared Polis along with Colorado Parks and Wildlife Director Jeff Davis and Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade will announce a new partnership to better manage natural resources on Monday, Feb. 10.
Governor Polis and Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) will be announcing a new partnership with local and federal agencies to better manage Pikes Peak. The partnership is meant to explore the management of recreational opportunities on America’s Mountain.
Some of those who will be in attendance include Teller County Commissioner Dan Williams, U.S. Forest Service Regional Forester Troy Heithecker, Colorado Springs Utilities CEO Travas Deal, and Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance Becky Leinwember.
The event will take place at 10:30 a.m.
