(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Something New is supporting the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine Ball, a prom event for those with special needs ages 14 and over with a special formal dress shopping experience.
Night to Shine is an annual event held by the Tim Tebow Foundation to celebrate people with special needs. The event includes a full prom experience with red carpet entrances, karaoke, dancing, and crowning ceremonies. The event is held on Feb. 7 nationwide.
Something New said it had over 100 dresses it would be giving away to Night to Shine attendees, on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In Colorado Springs, the event will be held at Pikes Peak Christian Church, Core Community, and Zeal Church. Attendees will be able to shop for a free formal dress donated by customers and community members to wear to Night to Shine.
Something New said it will continue to accept gently used dresses through Tuesday, Jan. 28. Those interested in getting a dress are encouraged to make an appointment for Wednesday.
