(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Harrison School District 2 (D2) celebrated 150 years on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and showcased old photos, artifacts, and other historical items during the event.
Harrison D2 was established on Aug. 20, 1874, two years before Colorado became a state, and is the second oldest district in El Paso County. D2 has over 13,300 students enrolled in its 23 schools and boasts an 80% graduation rate.
