(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Starting a new business can be difficult and overwhelming. To help simplify the process, Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade unveiled a new tool on Wednesday, Aug. 21, that will help budding businesses navigate their way to a successful start.
The COS Business Navigator is a free resource from the City of Colorado Springs to help people navigate the process of launching a new business in the city. The website includes a library of short, informative videos from local experts that help answer many of the most frequently asked questions regarding things like permits, licenses, zoning regulations, and much more.
“We want you to know that you’re not alone. Your government agencies, your nonprofit agencies are here to support you and guide you in the same way a travel guide helps you navigate through the rugged terrain, ensuring that you reach your destination safely,” said Mayor Mobolade.
You can check out the videos and all the resources available to new business owners at ColoradoSprings.gov/COSBusinessNavigator.
Mayor Mobolade said this new tool will serve as a guide from the conception of a business idea to opening day.
