(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Easter Bunny elevated its game on Sunday, April 20, when a helicopter dropped 5,000 Easter eggs to a few hundred egg hunters waiting below.

The Helicopter Egg Drop, hosted by the Berisford Group, was a private event held at Rampart Park, near North Union Boulevard and Lexington Drive.

During the event, a helicopter made several passes over the park, dropping the plastic eggs in batches to the ground far below. Once the helicopter departed, hundreds of kids ran into the field, accompanied by the Easter Bunny, and collected their prizes.
