Historic Manitou Springs Library reopening in February

(MANITOU SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) set the date for the grand reopening of the Manitou Springs Library with a ribbon cutting on Friday, Feb. 7.

The Mantou Springs Library, originally housed in the historic Carnegie Library building at 701 Manitou Avenue, has been housed in the Manitou Arts Center since 2021 to be ADA-compliant.

The Carnegie location, built in 1910, had updates installed starting in January 2024 to make the building more accessible. With renovations having been completed in December, the library closed in November to begin the moving process back into its original location.
