Bramer is a former Olympian who has been dealing with severe pain after competing in the 2008 Olympics as a pentathlete.

“I had to get a lot of medical work done when I was competing in the Olympics, but I didn’t really take into account the kind of long-term damage that would be done,” said Bramer.

They said they have prevented more than 11,000 people from having to get surgery, including Bramer, for his knee.

“So right now, it’s looking very good to avoid some surgeries that other people had told me I was going to need,” said Bramer.

The team at Bio Functional Health Solutions begins by conducting an in-depth assessment to understand the patients’ health background, athletic goals, and motivations.

“I decided to give it a try because my body could do better from the abuse I’ve given it, and I quickly learned how right I was,” said Xander Laura, a patient.

Laura is a track and field athlete, and the therapy has allowed him to keep doing the things he loves most.

“I want to be there and be able to chase my children and not crawl when they learn to walk,” said Laura.
