(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — Interquest Parkway will close at North Powers Boulevard overnight on Friday, May 30, through Saturday morning, May 31, for water installation for a new fire station.

According to the City of Colorado Springs, Interquest Parkway will be closed in both directions from 8 p.m. on Friday to 11 a.m. on Saturday from New Life Drive to the Powers interchange. The closure will be in place for water installation for the construction of Fire Station #24 at the corner of Interquest and New Life.

Detours will be in place during the closure:

Westbound Interquest traffic (from Highway 83) will detour onto southbound Powers Boulevard, then turn east on Old Ranch Road, then north on Voyager Parkway to connect back to Interquest.

Eastbound Interquest traffic will detour north at Voyager Parkway, then turn east on North Gate Boulevard to Highway 83
