(COLORADO SPRINGS) — St. Patrick’s Day is a busy time for Irish Dancers who are often asked to perform at local pubs, schools and more. FOX21 Morning News was treated to a special performance on Monday, March 17 by the Rose Courtney Academy of Irish Dance.
Owner and Instructor Kari Lucio said the studio offers classes for all ages and abilities. Lucio started Irish dancing in the 90s when the Riverdance Irish dancing craze came to America. She later decided to open her own dance studio, which she named after her grandmother.
