(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Unique Play Place and Connecting Communities are hosting the “Unique Block Party: Where Play & Work Meet” on Saturday, August 3 at 3958 North Academy Boulevard.

The free event, which is located near the intersection of Academy and Austin Bluffs Parkway, is a part of the 1,000 Neighborhood Gatherings Initiative and will include bounce houses, face painting, and a variety of free and paid activities for all ages.

Local vendors will be on hand to provide food and drinks, and interactive games will provide a chance to connect with other people in the community. Guests will also have a chance to explore local businesses to see what products and services they have to offer.
