Live updates: Stone Canyon Fire near Lyons estimated at 1,320 acres

DENVER (KDVR) — A wildfire fire was reported burning in Boulder County on Tuesday, forcing evacuations and road closures. As of Tuesday night, the fire is estimated at 1,320 acres with 0% containment.

The fire has officially been named the Stone Canyon Fire and began Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood north of Lyons.

Evacuations have been ordered for the fire. This includes many areas north of Lyons, such as the Eagle Ridge neighborhood. As of Tuesday night, two structures have been lost.

The map below shows evacuation areas for this fire and the Alexander Mountain Fire close to Loveland.
