(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A local matchmaker may be the solution if you’re serious about finding love and lack the time or want to deal with dating apps.

Donna Shugrue is the owner of Perfectly Matched in Colorado Springs which opened in October of 1991 and has successfully matched over 700 couples who are now married.

“I start with the things that matter—compatibility, which is determined by the profile test that I work with. The second thing I look for is similar long-term goals, shared interests, and activities, along with issues like smoking, drinking, kids, pets, education, income, intellectual compatibility, and then add the attraction,” Shugrue said. “It’s so much more effective when you start with the things that matter and you add the attraction.”

She says her services are safer than the apps because she vets every applicant before taking them as a client.
