(CANON CITY, CO)– If you’re looking for a new and unique view of the Royal Gorge, the popular tourist destination offers thrilling opportunities.
With zipling, rock climbing, and the skycoaster all operating most of the time, wind depending, the Royal Gorge has worked hard since it’s opening to provide tourists with a fun way to get in thrills while still taking in the beauty.
Built in 1929, the Royal Gorge had nearly 20 attractions until the fire of 2013. Since that time, the park has focused on increasing what they have to offer. “We rebuilt it,” said Peggy Gair, Human Resources Manager for the Royal Gorge. “We decided that we would start all over again and put in the spectacular attractions like going across the gorge on a zip line, flying over the gorge. And people have come from miles around the world just to walk across the bridge.”
