(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Colorado State Fair has announced that Los Huracanes del Norte will be performing on Fiesta Day, held on Sunday, Aug. 31.
Fiesta Day is a celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture that has taken place at the Colorado State Fair since 1967, and features food, folklórico dancers, and mariachi bands, in addition to the musical lineup.
“At the Colorado State Fair, we’re getting ready to dance, sing, and experience great food and fabulous culture,” said Andrea Wiesenmeyer, general manager of the Colorado State Fair. “We’re embracing the longstanding tradition of the fair’s Fiesta Day and turning up the fun in 2025!”
One of the most popular events is Celebración de los Charros, a “ballet of horses” that puts on a stunning display of horsemanship and culture with the tradition of Mexican rodeo.
For the grand finale of the Fiesta Day celebration, Los Huracanes del Norte will take the stage. Known for their high-energy performances, the band earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022 and has spent more than four decades performing their signature high-energy norteña sound.
Other artists included in the fair entertainment lineup include country musicians Cooper Alan, Lee Brice, and Clay Walker, as well as comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias and musician Flo Rida.
Tickets for the concert go on sale on Thursday, May 8, at 10 a.m. on the Colorado State Fair website or by calling 1-800-514-3849, or at the Southwest Motors Events Center box office.
Advance general admission tickets to the fair go on sale for $9 on Tuesday, May 6 at 10 a.m. through Aug. 21. Single-day carnival tickets will be available for $32, and the 11-day pass, or MegaPass, tickets sell for $160 and include daily gate admission and carnival rides.
