(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Saturday, Aug. 17, My 99.9 and iHeart Radio’s annual LovePup event is partnering with the Promenade Shops at Briargate’s “Bark at Briargate” raising money for its mission to find dogs homes.

LovePup was founded in 2014 by Johnjay and Blake Van Es after finding joy in helping dogs find forever homes.

The event marks the first partnership between LovePup Family Fest and the Promenade Shops at Briargate’s “Bark at Briargate” creating a super event, said Lindsey Marie from My 99.9. The grounds will feature adoption booths and vendors along with a charity dog wash provided by Wag ‘n Wash, with proceeds benefitting the LovePup Foundation.

The event takes place on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Promenade Shops at Briargate located on Briargate Parkway between Voyager Parkway and Chapel Hills Drive.

Admission to the event is free with a suggested donation of a pet supply item like toys, treats, leashes, collars, and other similar items.
