Manufacturing expo held in Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado’s Manufacturing and Supplier Expo wrapped up Wednesday afternoon in Colorado Springs, bringing industry experts all under one roof.

The inaugural expo featured more than 100 vendors, to help foster connection, innovation, and economic growth within our state’s manufacturing community. Businesses of all sizes got to showcase their products, new technologies, and build relationships for long-term success.

“I would like business development opportunities to happen,” said Bantina Aloisi, VP of Event Operations at Colorado Manufacturing Partners. “I’ve already heard from several manufacturers and industry partners that they have a collection of cards in their back pocket and great meetings that are getting ready to set up. And I want incredible partnerships to be able to come out of this. And I think we’re doing both of those things [at the Expo].”

Experts say manufacturing is critical to the future of Southern Colorado, and with a growing need for skilled workers, and a low supply of options to fill them, there’s no better time to highlight these opportunities.
