(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Creative professionals in the Pikes Peak region are invited to attend a career-boosting event on May 8, 2024. The event will be held at the Ent Center for the Arts and is being put on by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPR).

If you are a creative living and working in Colorado Springs, this is a great opportunity to find mentorship, business support, and new resources, according to COPPR. This event is presented as part of COPPR’s Level Up! programming, which seeks to support and provide resources for working artists and creative businesses.

The event includes a resource fair from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., which includes over 20 tables presenting information about health insurance, financial and business planning, grant funding, and more. One-on-one support will also be available through mentoring circles.

From 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Jonathan Liebert, CEO of the Better Business Bureau, and founder at the National Institute for Social Impact, will be speaking on the “critical and current considerations for creative organizations and businesses who have a social impact” according to COPPR.

Registration will open soon and will be posted on COPPR’s website and social media.

There will be a brief time for networking after the talk in the hope that local creatives can meet and find opportunities for collaboration.
