Victim in fatal Pueblo hit-and-run identified

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the person killed in a hit-and-run crash in the early morning hours of Monday, March 4 on I-25 in Pueblo.

The Pueblo County Coroner announced on Wednesday, March 6, that 57-year-old Ruben Sena had been identified as the rider of a moped who was allegedly hit and killed by a Jeep Cherokee that left the scene.

The crash happened on southbound I-25 north of Minnequa Avenue around 3:15 a.m. on Monday.

The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) is asking for the community’s help to track down the Jeep, which they believe to be a 2014-2018 model of unknown color, that likely has damage on the front end. PPD provided a reference photo for the type of car they believe was involved.
