Moses Wagner pleads guilty to June killing

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed that Moses Wagner has pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the death of Victoria Brandon Delira-Alires, for which he was arrested on July 2.

Delira-Alires was originally found on Sunday, June 29, when the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) was sent to the 2400 Block of Pine Street near Lake Minnequa on a report of an injured woman. She was pronounced dead on the scene by arriving officers.

The following Wednesday, July 2, Wagner was brought into PPD custody after he was stopped for a fictitious license plate and illegal window tint. During the initial investigation, PPD officers found enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for Wagner in connection with Delira-Alires’ death.

Wagner has since pled guilty to Manslaughter, which is a class four felony punishable by up to six years, on Sept. 24. According to the Pueblo County District Attorney’s Office, the Judge overseeing this case granted a furlough request allowing Wagner to be released while he seeks unspecified treatment. Wagner is due back in court on Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. for the Judge to determine whether or not he has completed said treatment.

Wagner’s sentencing is set for Nov. 25 at 8 a.m. at the Pueblo County Courthouse
