(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center will be hosting its inaugural Benefit and Barbecue event on Sunday, July 7.

Attendees can enjoy free entertainment from the Jeffrey Alan Band, and food from Cowboys from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 25 North Tejon Street near East Kiowa Street.

“This the first time we’ve done a concert as we kick off the summer,” said Bob McLaughlin, executive director of Mt. Carmel. “We’re hoping people come out, enjoy some live music, good food — and donate to Mt. Carmel.”

Some proceeds from food and drinks will benefit Mt. Carmel and its mission to support veterans.
