(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — U.S. Highway 160 is closed for almost 50 miles near Walsenburg due to safety concerns.
According to COTrip, Hwy 160 is closed between Carson Avenue in Fort Garland and Bear Creek Road near Walsenburg due to safety concerns.

There is no estimated time that the highway will reopen. Road conditions in the area are likely poor due to weather, so drivers are urged to stay off the roads. If you need to travel in the area of the closure, plan alternate routes and plan for lengthy delays.
