(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is delaying bus service on Tuesday, Dec. 10 due to icy road conditions.
MMT originally suspended service on Monday, Dec. 9 around 2 p.m. due to deteriorating road conditions making the drive dangerous for riders and employees. Service was then cancelled for the remainder of the evening just before 5 p.m., and now MMT is preemptively delaying service on Tuesday until 9 a.m.
The delay applies to both bus service and Metro Mobility ADA Paratransit service. MMT said further delays and detours are possible once service resumes.
