(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department reported a woman was a victim of a hit-and-run on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Bonfoy Avenue, near Memorial Park, regarding a car versus pedestrian crash. When officers arrived, they found a woman lying on the roadway, who stated she was hit by a car and it sped off.

CSPD says no witnesses have yet come forward and there is no information on what type of car hit the pedestrian. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.
