(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Northbound Academy Boulevard was blocked near North Carefree Circle just before rush hour on Friday, Feb. 28.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) posted about the crash just before 4:20 p.m. on Friday and said police and fire crews were on scene of a crash at the intersection of Academy and North Carefree.

CSPD said northbound Academy was blocked north of Parkmoor Village Drive to Carefree. CSPD urges drivers to use caution in the area and find alternate routes if possible.
