(EASTERN COLORADO) — Travel conditions continue to be difficult south of Highway 50 from I-25 eastward and over the Palmer Divide northeast of Colorado Springs with multiple days of moderate to heavy snow coating the roadways.
As of 8 a.m. Friday morning, Nov. 8, several roads are closed or experiencing significant delays. Visit the CDOT website to check the latest travel conditions and road closures.
Between Thursday morning, Nov. 7, and Friday morning, some of the heaviest snow reports have been around Limon and Trinidad. In the cities, snow fell through Thursday morning to the tune of 2-5″ before decreasing overnight.
Snow increases again Friday morning and will be heavy at times again over Southern Colorado into Friday night.
