Pikes Peak announces new rates ahead of season

(COLORADO) — Pikes Peak is gearing up for the busy season ahead and announcing new rates before tickets go on sale in April.

Starting Tuesday, April 1, shuttle tickets and timed entry permits will go on sale. Timed entry permits are required for visitors wanting to drive their car on the Pikes Peak Highway from May 23 through Sept. 30.

“Shuttle tickets and timed entry permit sales signal the start of an exciting season for locals and visitors wishing to explore America’s Mountain,” said Skyler Rorabaugh, Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain Manager. “This year, we are excited to offer expanded shuttle stops, providing greater accessibility to the stunning views and experiences that Pikes Peak has to offer. We anticipate a busy season filled with adventure and memorable moments for everyone.”

While timed entry permits will remain at $2, Pikes Peak Mountain will have new rates on admission, passes, and shuttles:

General Admission passes will now be:

$18 for Adults (16 and over) and $8 for Children (six to 15)

Carload discount: $13 additional adult, $5 additional child

Annual passes:

Pikes Peak 5 Trip Pass: $160

Pikes Peak ’14er Pass: $130

Pikes Peak Premier Individual Pass: $130

Pikes Peak Premier Vehicle Pass: $240

Shuttle rates:

Adults: $35

Children: $10

Additional child rate (three or more children): $5 per child

Shuttle tickets will also become available on April 1. Guests will continue to park at Mile 7 to board shuttles, which will provide transportation to multiple key stops along the scenic route. Shuttles will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting May 23 through Aug. 10.

The North Slope Recreation Area (NSRA) along the Pikes Peak Highway, including Crystal Creek Reservoir, is set to open a month later on May 1, weather dependent.

Summit reservations will not be required for those planning to visit NSRA unless they also plan to drive to the summit of Pikes Peak. In addition, due to the Colorado Springs Utilities South Catamount Reservoir Dam repair project, the North and South Catamount reservoirs will remain closed to cars for the 2025 season.

Before taking the drive up, guests are encouraged to plan ahead and call (719)-385-7325 for highway conditions.
