(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) race is kicking off this weekend, with one of the most popular street festivals set to take place on Friday, June 20.

Fan Fest is set to be held on Friday before Race Day, which is set to occur Sunday, June 22. Fan Fest is one of Colorado Springs’ largest street festivals, with more than 35,000 people gathering in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs to experience the 10-block street party.

Individuals are invited to come out to Fan Fest on Friday, meet drivers, visit with sponsors, and check out high-flying stunts during the FMX show.

The event happens rain or shine and begins at 5 p.m.
