DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado is getting its first Chicken N Pickle, a restaurant and bar that prides itself on its rotisserie chicken and pickleball courts.

Chicken N Pickle is an entertainment destination with pickleball courts, yard games, and a sports bar. It started in Missouri in 2016, and since then, it has grown across the country with several locations, including a soon-to-be space in Thornton.

The restaurant said it will be the first pickleball-dedicated venue in the Thornton area with eight professional-grade pickleball courts, including six indoor and two covered outdoor courts — but the space isn’t just for pickleball.

The space, which takes up more than three acres, has a dining room, beer gardens and game yard with games like cornhole, ping pong, Jenda and life-sized Battleship. It also has event spaces and a restaurant with a menu specializing in wood-fired rotisserie chicken.

Colorado’s first Chicken N Pickle is set to open at The Grove shopping center near Interstate 25 and 144th Avenue on June 24.
