(SPONSORED) — Eight events will occur throughout the five days at this year’s Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo held at the Norris Penrose Event Center. The festivities will include championship-level competition, shopping, food, and music.
Event organizers Shaun Guilfoil and Laurie Carroll joined Loving Living Local host Justin Antweil to preview the summer spectacle, which has been going on since 1937.

“We host over 49,000 visitors each year, and there is a lot of preparation to bring a first-class event to life,” said Carroll.
Since 1946, the proceeds from the event have gone to support local military and their families with quality-of-life initiatives, and this practice continues to be the main mission of the organization.
