(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) confirmed a Colorado Springs School District 11 school bus was involved in a crash on Tuesday, March 11.

The police department told FOX21 News the crash occurred near Garden of the Gods Road and Centennial Boulevard. D11 confirmed the crash occurred Tuesday morning while the bus was on its route. At the time of the crash, there were children on the bus, however, CSPD said no injuries had been reported.

“Out of an abundance of caution, some students were taken to the hospital for medical evaluation,” said D11 spokesperson Jessica Wise. “Safety is always our top priority, and we are in contact with the families of the students involved.”

At the moment, there are no citations for either driver.
