(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said it is investigating a body found inside a home, in which the circumstances are considered suspicious.

According to PPD, on Sunday, July 13, at around 2:15 p.m., officers were called to a report of a dead person in the 400 block of West 10th Street off North Grand Avenue. When police arrived, they found a woman’s dead body inside the home.

Officers arrived on the scene and started an investigation with the help of the PPD’s Crimes Against Persons and Crime Scene Investigations unit. PPD said the circumstances surrounding the death appear to be suspicious. Currently, the death has not been ruled a homicide and is under further investigation.
