Pueblo County man sentenced to 16 years for home invasion

(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — 50-year-old William Gonzales, who was arrested for his involvement in a home invasion where a victim was tied up, beaten, and threatened while his shop was ransacked, has been sentenced to 16 years in the Department of Corrections (DOC), according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).

Gonzales was arrested in December 2023 for Aggravated Robbery, First Degree Kidnapping, First Degree Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Theft.

PCSO said a warrant for Gonzales’ arrest was issued in November of 2023 after he was identified as one of the suspects who forced their way into a home on Daniel Road on Nov. 8, tied up the victim, Derek Seales, while the suspects stole several items including cars, guns, and assorted tools.

On Friday, March 1, 2024, PCSO announced that Gonzales pled guilty to Aggravated Robbery, and was sentenced to 16 years in the DOC.
