(PUEBLO, Colo.) — On Tuesday, Aug. 13 the Pueblo Wings of Pride Air Show announced that the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have selected Pueblo as one of the team’s 2025 demonstration sites joining the first air show in Pueblo in nearly two decades.
The demonstration flight is expected to take place as the headline of the Pueblo Wings of Pride on Saturday, Sept. 27, and Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at the Pueblo Memorial Airport. The performance is a showcase of the pride, the commitment, and the precision with which the U.S. Military executes its mission, said Retired U.S. Air Force Major General Brian Bishop, One of the directors for the Pueblo Wings of Pride event.
“It is always so excellent to have the team in your own backyard. They do such a great job, they interact with the community,” said Retired Maj. Gen. Bishop, “The demonstration they perform and the music that’s integrated with it along with the narration. It is an absolute show experience.”
The show is expected to announce more performers, static aircraft, and ground entertainment in the upcoming year. Tickets for the event go on sale in late Sept. 2024
“We are incredibly excited to bring an air show back to Pueblo,” said Kerry Floyd, Executive Director of Wings of Pride Air Show, producers of the event. “But even more exciting is the fact that the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will perform their very first precision demonstration in Pueblo. It just doesn’t get any better than this!”
