(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) is investigating a suspicious death that occurred on Sunday, June 29.

At around noon on Sunday, police officers were sent to the area of Pine Street and Nevada Avenue, west of I-25, where they found an injured woman. Officers say she was found dead at the scene with a possible gunshot wound.

The death is under investigation. No suspects have been identified at this time.
