(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A truck crashed into a home on the south side of Colorado Springs on Friday, Jan. 24, just two days after a sedan crashed into a new build on the north side.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) posted about the wreck on social media just after 2:15 p.m. on Friday. CSFD said crews had responded to a vehicle that had crashed into a home in the 800 block of Wycliffe Drive, near Highway 115 and South Academy Boulevard.
CSFD said there were three people in the truck at the time of the crash. Two reported minor injuries, and one was taken to the hospital. No one was inside the home at the time of the crash.
CSFD said a collapse team was on scene accessing the stability of the home. If you are traveling in the area, watch for crews and use caution.
