(PUEBLO, Colo.) — During the week of Monday, Sept. 8 to Saturday, Sept. 14 the Pueblo Zoo will honor senior citizens with a week of events including free admission.

Pueblo Zoo said the annual Senior Week is presented by Golden Gate Manor Inc. Transporation and Golden Gate Medical Supplies. During the week, Seniors 65+ and their caregivers get free admission.

Each day will feature coffee and donuts and guests are welcome to enjoy the zoo at their own pace. On Wednesday, Sept. 11, Pueblo Zoo will hold the Senior Safari with live music, animal presentations, games, vendor booths, lunch, and more.

“Seniors are such an important part of the tapestry of our community. We are privileged to honor area seniors as we welcome them to their zoo and celebrate with them,” says Executive Director, Abbie Krause.

Reservations are not required for the Senior Safari, but reserved tables are available for $30.
