Shelter-in-place issued for neighborhood near Nevada Ave

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported on Monday, Aug. 19, that it responded to a call for service on Woodburn Street.

CSPD said it responded to a disturbance in the 2200 block of Woodburn Street near Nevada Avenue and West Cheyenne Road. CSPD has issued a shelter-in-place order while officers work to get the suspect in custody.

When a shelter-in-place is issued, individuals must stay inside their homes and avoid windows and doors.
